Tourism

Tourism is a very important sector in the Gambian Army. In 2019 before Covid it represented 30% of the GNP of the country. In that year there were 288,000 tourist in the country. Due to Covid those numbers dropped drastically. Gambia hopes to return tourism to the pre pandemic levels.
